Stop 2: Dinner & Drinks at Trailside Brewing Co.
After my massage, I head to Trailside Brewing Co. for a beer or cocktail from The Grove and enjoy their outdoor patio. With firepits and plenty of space, it’s a great spot in any season. Their onsite food truck makes it easy to grab a quick meal before heading to the trail.
Stop 3: Sunset on Cedar Rock
To close out the day, I hike up to Cedar Rock in DuPont State Forest. The steady climb leads to open rock with wide views of the mountains. As the sun sets, the light stretches across the ridges—it’s one of my favorite places to take a deep breath and unwind.
Caroline, our Operations Manager, has crafted her perfect day in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Stop 3: Flat Rock & Hendersonville Shopping
+ Art Gallery Tour
Flat Rock is home to some of my favorite shops, like The Wrinkled Egg, Dogwood, and The Gallery at Flat Rock. After that, I head to Main Street Hendersonville—one of the most charming downtowns in North Carolina—for even more shopping and galleries.
